Benched after weeks of underperforming
In a release on its website today, Fnatic announced that Xcalibur would be moved to the substitute position and replaced by Abed.
ANALYSIS
Xcalibur joined Fnatic before the start of the 2017/2018 competition season, shortly after The International 7. During that time, the team failed to qualify for any Major or Minor event. Fnatic did play at both the ESL Hamburg Major and DotaPit Minor, but only because qualified teams had to withdraw. Xcalibur stood out as a clear under-performer consistently, making this roster move not much of a surprise.
