It doesn't take long for drama to creep up in the Call of Duty scene, as Xotic's decision to leave what figures to be the new iteration of Lightning Pandaz for Evil Geniuses just hours before roster locks for the CWL Las Vegas Open creates a cascade of future ramifications. First and foremost, Xotic's Pro Points narrowly put Evil Geniuses over his former roster for the final spot guaranteed for CWL Las Vegas Pool Play - a massive ramification given the December tournament will play a critical role in qualifying for Stage 1 of the CWL Pro League. Second, the decision to leave his former teammates behind once again signals a disappointing start to the new CoD season for Parasite, who was the leader of Xotic's now previous team. At the very least, storylines have already surfaced throughout the first months of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and shouldn't die down with the first tournament taking place in just over three weeks time.
