Shoddy Zeratul play
Zoos Zeratul play contributed greatly towards their 0-3 loss against Chu8 My Hotdoge at the third 2016 North America HGC Qualifiers.
ANALYSIS
Zoos did a good job Game 1 on the hero Zarya, always managing to soak up tower shots whenever he could with his shields. However, because Zoos opted for Maximum Charge over Demolition Expert, it appeared that Vox Nihili ended up struggling when it came to applying the range pressure needed to force Slyvanas out of lane. Game 2 had Zoos on Zeratul as what would appear to a pick in an attempt to deny Glaurung his best hero. This proved to be a tough match up for Zoos as Dehaka is a strong counter to Zeratul. This came into play just shy of the six minute mark with Zoos getting baited onto Falstad while Dehaka sat silently in the bushes. This misplay on Zoos part would end up costing Vox Nihili a good portion of their curse experience. Zoos was able to lash out at the eight minute mark with a good Void Prison onto Sgt. Hammer which resulted in a two for nothing trade in favor of Vox Nihili. The rest of Game 2 was a complete disaster for Zoos as he got caught out time and time again, clearly not respecting his opponents. Game 3 had Zoos on Zeratul yet again which was surprising considering his previous performance. Zoos started off strong this round with a great first blood on the enemy Dehaka as him and Daihuu anticipated his eventual Brush Stalker from top to bottom lane. This play appeared to boost Zoos confidence as he continued to get picks across the map netting three kills in under five minutes. That was where the plays ended and the rest of the game was a downhill spiral into defeat.
