Khimki announced Wednesday that Gill needs surgery to address a hip injury and will be shut down for the rest of the season, EuroHoops.net reports.
ANALYSIS
According to the report, Gill will require approximately five months of rehab before returning to the court, so he should be ready to play in advance of the 2019-20 season. Gill, who suffered the injury in Khimki's Round 19 loss to Olympiacos, was averaging 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game over his 13 EuroLeague outings.
