Ends legendary career
Reyes announced Thursday that he has elected to retire from professional basketball, EuroLeague.net reports.
ANALYSIS
The 41-year-old big man will call an end to a legendary career spent entirely in his native Spain, with his last 17 campaigns coming in the EuroLeague as a member of Real Madrid. Though he slipped into a smaller role in his latter years, Reyes retires as the EuroLeague's all-time leader in offensive rebounds (705) and second in total rebounds (1,799). He also took home two EuroLeague titles with Real Madrid in the 2014-15 and 2017-18 seasons.
