Bayern Munich announced Monday that Nelson won't be re-signed after his contract with the German club recently expired.

The 34-year-old inked a short-term deal with Bayern Munich this summer, giving the club some extra depth while T.J. Bray (knee) tended to an injury. With Bray closing in on his season debut, Bayern Munich didn't see much of a need to keep Nelson in the fold.
