Christian Izien Injury: Ruled out for season opener

Izien (oblique) won't play against the Falcons on Sunday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Izien hasn't practiced all week and was ruled out by coach Todd Bowles on Friday. The safety's next chance to suit up will come against the Texans in Week 2 on Monday Night Football.
