Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles Injury: Won't play Sunday

Flannigan-Fowles (calf) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Flannigan-Fowles began the Giants' week of practice with a limited session before downgrading to DNPs on Thursday and Friday, making it no surprise that he'll be sidelined in Week 2. The first-year Giant played exclusively on special teams in Week 1, failing to record a stat. Chris Board figures to serve as New York's top reserve inside linebacker while Flannigan-Fowles is unavailable Sunday.
