Deneric Prince Injury: Waived with injury designation

The Patriots waived Prince (undisclosed) with an injury designation Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Prince didn't play in the Patriots' preseason opener against the Commanders last Friday and will now head to injured reserve once he clears waivers. There was buzz about Prince in the Chiefs camp two summers ago, but he failed to make the team and spent two seasons on their practice squad.
