Essang Bassey News: Latches on with Washington

The Commanders signed Bassey on Monday.

Bassey will join the Commanders prior to the team's upcoming preseason matchup with the Bengals next Monday. The cornerback will help fill the void in Washington's secondary created by Kevon Seymour's (undisclosed) placement on injured reserve Monday.
