John Ridgeway Injury: Sent to injured reserve

The Saints placed Ridgeway (pectoral) on injured reserve Tuesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

The move will be made official following the cutdown deadline later Tuesday afternoon, allowing Ridgeway the opportunity to return after missing the required four regular-season games. Ridgeway appeared in 13 regular-season games for the Saints last season, logging 15 tackles (eight solo) and one pass breakup.
