The Texans cut Cephus on Tuesday.

Cephus spent time with the Rams and 49ers this summer before ultimately landing with the Texans. The 2020 fifth-round pick out of Wisconsin hasn't played an NFL snap since the 2022 season, when he caught two passes (three targets) for 15 yards through four games. He'll aim to carve out a role on the practice squad this season.
