Spencer Shrader News: Solid performance in preseason loss

Shrader made three of four field-goal attempts in Thursday's preseason loss at Baltimore. He missed a 52-yard attempt.

Shrader was seen as having a significant lead over Maddux Trujillo for the placekicking job in training camp, and Thursday's game should help his cause. Trujillo may get more of an opportunity in the next preseason game (he converted his only extra-point attempt in Thursday's game).
