ANALYSIS
Goodman suffered the injury during Sunday's opening kickoff against Cleveland and will miss the rest of the season. The Chargers were already dealing with a battered receiving corps, signing Seyi Ajirotutu to take Goodman's place on the roster.

It was thought that the injuries to Danario Alexander and other wide receivers would give Goodman a shot at landing a role in 2013, but he was one of the final cuts of the preseason.
Goodman was a valuable member of the special teams in 2011, handling the majority of the kickoff returns for the Bolts, but his roster spot in not guaranteed in 2012 and the team brought in a number of new wide receivers during the offseason.
Goodman was signed from the practice squad in 2010 when the receiving corps was decimated by injuries, so he does have some experience with the Bolts, but he faces an uphill battle to make the team in 2011.
Goodman is not expected to make a significant impact in 2010.
