RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Hau'oli Kikaha.
After a promising rookie campaign in which he racked up 52 tackles, four sacks, and four forced fumbles, Kikaha's sophomore season came to a premature end when he tore his ACL during the Saints' offseason program in June. Given the timing of the injury, Kikaha should be ready in time training camp next season, but he is not expected to see the field at all in 2016.
After posting a nation-leading 19 sacks, to go along with 72 tackles and 25 tackles for loss, Kikaha was drafted by the Saints in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Moving to outside linebacker in the Saints 3-4 base defense, Kikaha is considered to be somewhat of a project, but he will have every opportunity to earn early playing time following the offseason release of Junior Galette. Should Kikaha see enough snaps, his pass rushing skills could be an asset in IDP leagues.
