Rogers is working out for the Texans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Rogers' tryout with Houston comes in the wake of Will Fuller exiting Sunday's loss to the Colts with a hamstring injury. The 26-year-old wideout spent the last three seasons with the Steelers, and his experience, which includes returning punts, could make him a valuable depth option.

Rogers re-signed with the Steelers on a two-year deal after spending most of the 2018 season on the PUP list due to an ACL issue. Even with the departure of Antonio Brown, Rogers, who operates predominantly out of the slot, is among a crowded group of receivers fighting for targets behind top option Juju Smith-Schuster.
Rogers received limited interest as an unrestricted free agent, partially due to him still recovering from a partially torn ACL he suffered in January, and eventually re-signed with Pittsburgh. He impressed as a rookie, but his playing time took a hit last season and, even if he returns to full health, again finds himself among a crowded group of talented receivers that could limit his fantasy production.
After losing his entire rookie year to injury, Rogers stepped up in a big way for the Steelers in 2016; he caught four-plus balls in eight of 16 games and secured a key role behind top wideout Antonio Brown along the way. However, he may get bumped down a peg with Martavis Bryant set to return from suspension and could also face competition for snaps with second-round draft pick Juju Smith-Schuster out of USC. Rogers certainly remains in the fantasy picture, as he'll stil see his share of looks out of the slot, but he's likely at least an injury away from becoming a reliable producer.
Rogers, who spent the 2015 season on IR with a foot injury, is making a run at a key role in the Steelers' offense, thanks to a solid preseason to date. Rogers is thus a candidate to begin the season as the Steelers' top option in the slot, with fellow wideouts Antonio Brown and Markus Wheaton on track to start on the outside. In any case, Rogers is among the Steelers' wideouts (Sammie Coates and Darrius Heyward-Bey are also in the mix) who could benefit from some added opportunities early on this season, with RB Le'Veon Bell -- an outstanding pass-catcher out of the backfield -- suspended for the team's first three regular-season contests.
