February 24, 2005
The Rams have released Chandler, the St. Louis Post Dispatch reports.

Chandler assumes the backup quarterback spot in St. Louis and may see a start or two if Marc Bulger goes down with an injury. Chandler doesn't really warrant a handcuff to Bulger, unless you're in a very deep league.
Chandler will backup Kordell Stewart and mentor Rex Grossman. Bears' fans pray that he does not have to take the field.
