2025 Projections
The Chiefs have signed Gregg, a 12-year veteran, to a one-year deal, the Kansas City Star reports.
ANALYSIS
Kansas City had to do something to add depth to the middle of its defensive line after losing last year's starting nose tackle, Ron Edwards, to Carolina and reserve Shaun Smith to Tennessee. By adding Gregg the Chiefs are rolling the dice that the 35-year-old still has some gas left in his tank. But it is a very worthwhile gamble given that Gregg has quietly been one of the best nose tackles in the league for many years in Baltimore.

Gregg will anchor the middle of the defensive line in 2011. With a primary role of filling space, he makes too few tackles to have an IDP impact.
