RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2017

There was no outlook written for Brandon Williams.

2009

Williams is not a prime candidate to make the final roster as he has yet to record a single catch in his career. In addition, he has been active for too many regular season games to possess practice squad eligibility.

2008

Will compete for a wide receiver spot but is more than likely headed for the waiver wire or practice squad.

2007

Williams is expected to be the 49ers' primary punt returner. He did not see much action last year, playing in only four snaps from scrimmage. Williams developed more as a receiver this offseason and should see some time in the slot.

2006

Selected in the third round of this year's draft and should see time as the team's kickoff/punt returner. May be a bit small for full-time receiver duty but could be used when the team uses five wide receivers.
