Florida authorities opted not to file felony charges against Wolfe stemming from his May arrest, ESPNChicago.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Miami Beach police originally charged Wolfe with disorderly conduct, retail theft, assault of a police officer and resisting an officer with violence during the May 22 incident. However, Wolfe, a free agent to be, still faces a level-one misdemeanor of resisting an officer without violence. Despite the good legal news, Wolfe's playing future with the Bears is still in doubt.

Wolfe will battle Kahlil Bell this offseason for the No. 3 running back spot behind Matt Forte and Chester Taylor. Wolfe's talents on special teams mean he is virtually assured a roster spot, but he won't have any fantasy value this season unless Forte or Taylor get injured.
Backup running back who will see the majority of his time on special teams.
Wolfe saw most of his action in 2007 on third down, and didn't really make much of an impact. He received double-digit carries in one game, and produced just 29 yards on 12 totes. With just Adrian Peterson between him and starter Matt Forte, Wolfe could play a bigger role in the offense this year, but he shouldn't sniff a fantasy team.
Drafted by the Bears, Wolfe will battle Adrian Peterson for third-down duties and the right to backup Cedric Benson. Wolfe put up gaudy stats in college, but he’s only 5-7, 180, so many question how his game will translate to the pros. Often compared to Warrick Dunn, Wolfe is extremely quick and has good hands. Benson has never carried a full load for a season, so Wolfe could get a chance at some point this year.
