Rouse (neck) was released by the Cards on Wednesday, the Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
The move was made for the Cards to add former Arizona State receiver Mike Jones to the roster. Rouse could latch on elsewhere for depth in the secondary if he's healthy following a minor car accident earlier this week.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2008
2007
Rouse filled in at saftey when Nick Collins went down with an injury and played well as a rookie. He'll push Collins for a starting spot this season, though he may need to wait another year before he gets the job.
Rouse is a bigger strong safety that is doubted for his lack of speed. However, he was picked up by the Packers due to continued problems at this position, and don’t be surprised to see him get thrown in the mix this season, as it's one of the weaker areas on the team.
