Mike Hart

Hart sits third on the depth chart, but has some upside as a short-yardage and goal-line runner. He's someone to grab if Joseph Addai or Donald Brown go down with injuries.

Hart is coming back from a torn ACL and fighting for a relevant spot on the depth chart after the Colts took Donald Brown in the first round of the 2009 draft. He could emerge as a goal-line back.

Hart's skills didn't figure to translate well into the NFL, but he may have found the perfect home with the Colts, as their system doesn't emphasize speed, something Hart lacks. He's quick to the hole and runs with purpose, but his 1,015 career carries in college are disconcerting, as he's already been worked pretty hard. Dominic Rhodes recently re-signed with Indianapolis, but Kenton Keith's arrest may soon get him released. Whoever wins the backup job to Joseph Addai, who is seemingly always nicked up, would be worthy of attention.
