Greg Childs

Childs was Minnesota's 2012 fourth-round draft pick and could emerge as the No. 3 receiver this season and have a significant role. If it weren't for injuries, Childs would have been the best prospect out of the Arkansas trio of him, Joe Adams and Jarius Wright due to his speed and size (6-3). However, he's coming back from a patella tendon injury that limited him the past two years in college. Childs could begin the season as the No. 2 receiver while Jerome Simpson misses three games due to a suspension and could continue to have a large role in the offense even when he returns. However, he'll need to show his knee is back to full strength and it wasn't reassuring that he missed much of spring practice with a calf injury.
