Sean McGrath

McGrath mainly profiles as a blocking TE for the Chargers. While he did see time in every game during the 2016 campaign, he caught just two passes for 25 yards. Those figures don't stand to raise significantly with Hunter Henry and Antonio Gates in the fold.

McGrath missed the 2014 season but decided to come out of retirement to try to make Indy's final roster. Although McGrath had 26 receptions in 2013 with Kansas City, he's stuck behind a deep receiving corps and three tight ends who can catch the ball in Indy. He'll likely have a minimal role if he makes the final roster.

After spending most of 2012 on the practice squad, McGrath provided decent fantasy value early in the season, averaging 2.5 catches for 30 yards per game over the Chiefs' first six games of the season, which prorated over a full season would equal a solid 40 grabs for 480 yards. In Week 7, however, the return of Anthony Fasano to the lineup relegated McGrath to backup duties. Early on in training camp, McGrath -- who appeared poised to reprise his role as a reserve TE -- elected to retire.
