Bryant was selected by the Browns in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He played three seasons for Cleveland and one for Detroit, recording 68 tackles and 11.5 sacks in 36 games. His reliability came into question following three separate suspensions totaling 11 games for violations involving performance-enhancing drugs and substance abuse. Bryant was released by the Raiders in May after less than two months under contract.

A torn ACL suffered in Week 6 derailed Bryant's 2014 campaign, but the defensive end/outside linebacker expects to be fully healthy heading into training camp. He hasn't seen enough action in his first two seasons in the league to show he can provide utility as an IDP, so much of his expected production is dependent on the role he can carve out for himself during camp.
