Past Fantasy Outlooks
2015
2014
Smith had a tough time finding the field in 2014, serving on the practice squad most of the season before a Steven Jackson injury led to his activation. He failed to record a snap on either offense or special teams last season, and 2015 will likely carry the same tune. Smith is projected as the fourth running back on the roster behind Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman and Antone Smith. Although the backfield is crowded, the departure of Steven Jackson and Jacquizz Rodgers offers a sliver of hope that Smith can earn some meaningful touches. It will still likely take an injury or two for the second-year back to see a lot of regular season action, but stranger things have happened.
