RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2017

There was no outlook written for Jeremy Butler.

2016

Butler went undrafted in 2014 but emerged as Baltimore's No. 2 wide receiver by the end of the 2015 campaign. However, he only got the gig due to a slew of injuries that plagued the Ravens' wide receiving corps. Entering the 2016 season, Butler slides in behind all of Steve Smith, Kamar Aiken and Mike Wallace, and will likely take a backseat to 2015 first-round pick Breshad Perriman when he returns from yet another knee injury. Unless injuries ravage the team's receivers yet again, Butler likely won't assume more than the No. 4 or 5 receiver role in 2016.

2015

An undrafted free agent out of Tennessee-Martin, Butler made enough of an impression that the Ravens decided to stash him on IR with a shoulder injury in 2014. He'll compete with a slew of players for depth chart slotting in training camp, but he's unlikely to be anything more than the fourth or fifth receiver.
