2018 Fantasy Outlook
Despite seeing playing time as a slot receiver early in the year, Lewis never topped 16 offensive snaps in any game last season. During the second half of the year, Lewis was almost exclusively limited to special-teams work. Lewis' roster spot is not guaranteed this offseason, but with the Saints' receiver depth chart still unsettled, the speedster will have the opportunity to earn snaps, particularly in the slot. At 5-foot-7, however, it seems more likely that Lewis will remain a gadget player in the New Orleans offense, giving him limited fantasy appeal except in leagues that award points for return yardage. Reels in 20-yard pass
WRNew Orleans Saints
December 11, 2018
Lewis caught his only target for a 20-yard gain during Sunday's 28-14 win over the Buccaneers.
The diminutive receiver has been targeted just twice this season, gaining at least 20 yards each time. The Saints have had a revolving door opposite Michael Thomas, but even with his big-play ability, Lewis has been unable to establish himself. We'd be surprised if he catches on now, even in a favorable matchup Sunday against a Carolina pass defense ranked in the bottom half of the league in receiving yards (269 per game).

Past Fantasy Outlooks
In 2016, Lewis made the Saints' final 53-man roster out of training camp as an undrafted free agent from Northern Illinois. Although he's listed at only 5-foot-7, Lewis is an explosive athlete who appeared in 12 games in his rookie season, catching seven passes for 76 yards and gaining 11 yards on three rushing attempts. While his offensive contributions were sporadic, Lewis excelled as a returner, averaging over 11 yards per punt return and 19 yards per kickoff return. Lewis again faces an uphill battle for playing time due to a crowded wide receiver depth chart, but the offseason addition of Ted Ginn also clouds his special-teams role. However, if the diminutive dynamo can win the gig as the Saints' primary kick returner, he could offer some value in leagues that award points for return yardage.
Lewis was undrafted out of Northern Illinois, but the 5-foot-7 rookie receiver signed with the Saints this offseason. The speedy Lewis already has the ability to contribute on special teams and is a real threat to emerge as the No. 4 or 5 receiver in the Saints' pass-happy attack.
