Retiring from football

July 25, 2018
Clark informed the Packers on Wednesday that he will retire from professional football, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports.
Clark didn't report to training camp, but it wasn't known that he was considering stepping away from the game. The wideout will end his career with only four catches and 41 receiving yards to his name, but at 6-foot-6 and 217 pounds, Clark's size made him a promising prospect.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Clark signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent last May, and although he did not make the 53-man roster out of training camp, he landed on the practice squad and eventually earned a spot on the active roster for the final month of the campaign. With the Packers out of playoff contention, Clark saw extended action over the final two weeks and caught four passes while being targeted 14 times. His catch percentage speaks to how much development he has left, but the Packers saw enough from the former basketball player to bring him back during the offseason. He is among a handful of players competing for spots at the receiver position, and although he is raw, he does at least have a year of experience under his belt.
