2018 Fantasy Outlook
Denver's coaching staff worked with Hamilton during the Senior Bowl and reportedly viewed him as the soundest route runner of the bunch before selecting him in the fourth round. He never came close to matching the 82 receptions he had as a freshman, the potential product of a Penn State offense that rode Saquon Barkley. That said, he did manage to score nine touchdowns as a senior, matching the combined total from his first three seasons. Though not a burner, Hamilton's refined routes, strong hands and experience in the slot could make him an early contributor. He ranked second among the draft's receiver in team quarterback rating when targeted in the slot in 2017, per Pro Football Focus. Read Past Outlooks

Strong effort in expanded role
WRDenver Broncos
December 9, 2018
Hamilton brought in seven of nine targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' 20-14 loss to the 49ers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Hamilton co-led the Broncos in receptions, helping them make up for the absence of Emmanuel Sanders (Achilles) in their first game without the latter in the lineup. The rookie from Penn State's reception, receiving yardage and target totals were all career highs, and his one-yard touchdown reception with 3:53 remaining brought Denver to within six points. Hamilton's ability to take advantage of extra snaps was certainly encouraging, giving him a solid fantasy outlook heading into a Week 15 battle against the Browns next Saturday night.
