Preston Williams
22-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
2019 Fantasy Outlook
An underwhelming pro day and a 2017 off-field incident led to Williams being passed on in the 2018 NFL Draft despite having compiled a 96-1345-14 receiving line during his sole season at CSU. The Dolphins' wideout room remains nebulous at best behind DeVante Parker, Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson, giving Williams a chance to make the 53-man roster. While he could require time to develop at the NFL level, Williams could also reasonably push for snaps by the end of the 2019 season if he's able to surpass the likes of Brice Butler, Jakeem Grant and Isaiah Ford on the depth chart. Impressive during OTAs
WRMiami Dolphins
May 29, 2019
Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has praised Williams' performance thus far during the Dolphins' OTAs, Sean Pitts and Carline Jean of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel report.
ANALYSIS
Safid Deen of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel also labeled Williams as one of the three top performers at OTAs, where the receiver has reportedly made a number of "wild" catches. While it'll be another feat for Williams to continue his impressive play when the pads come on, the 6-foot-4 Colorado State product at least seems to be making a fantastic first impression as an undrafted rookie.
