24-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
Minnesota Vikings
2020 Fantasy Outlook
Johnson joined the Vikings as a seventh-round pick last year and ended up second among the team's wide receivers with 547 offensive snaps, trailing only the since-traded Stefon Diggs. Adam Thielen's hamstring injury was a major contributor to that, but Chad Beebe's injuries and Laquon Treadwell's general struggles also played a part. Despite the field time, Johnson didn't provide much production with 31 catches for 294 yards and three touchdowns. First-round pick Justin Jefferson figures to start and take the lion's share of Diggs' opportunities, while free-agent signing Tajae Sharpe likely is No. 3 on the depth chart. Johnson and Beebe should also compete for that role, but it's unlikely to carry much volume given Minnesota's heavy utilization of two-tight end sets. Read Past Outlooks

Zero-target finale
WRMinnesota Vikings
January 15, 2021
Johnson didn't see a single target Week 17 and ended the 2020 campaign catching 14 of 19 targets for 189 yards across 16 games.
ANALYSIS
In his second season with the Vikings, Johnson played a much quieter role and didn't see even half the targets (44) as last year. With Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson as the primary receivers and Chad Beebe passing him on the depth chart, the 2019 seventh-round pick wasn't able to have the same number of opportunities. Depending how Minnesota proceeds in the offseason -- especially as it pertains to Beebe, a restricted free agent -- Johnson may have even more competition for the No. 3 wide receiver role in 2021.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
One of two wide receivers selected by the Vikings in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Johnson will compete with incumbents Chad Beebe and Laquon Treadwell as well as fellow rookie Dillon Mitchell for the No. 3 position behind Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Johnson was hardly a standout during his four-year collegiate career at Colorado State, but he did accumulate 54 receptions, 796 yards and four touchdowns in his final season with the Rams and seems to possess the necessary route-running skills to be an effective depth option at the NFL level.
