2020 Defense Projections
2020 Fantasy Outlook
The Falcons' brass determined that an invigoration of youth was needed in the secondary, leading to the release of Desmond Trufant, the team's top corner from the past seven seasons. Evidently, GM Thomas Dimitroff and coach Dan Quinn had a plan to fill the vacancy and ended up taking Clemson defensive back Terrell at 16th overall. Terrell helped the Tigers to a 29-1 record during his two years as a starter and scored the first points of the 2019 National Championship Game, capturing a 44-yard pick-six during a 44-16 drubbing of Alabama. Many analysts point to his final collegiate performance as a red flag, however, citing that he may struggle holding up consistently to top-level competition, given that LSU's Ja'Marr Chase dominated his counterpart Terrell to the tune of nine catches and 221 yards in this year's title game. RANKS

Closes strong rookie campaign
Terrell, who collected two tackles and a pass deflection during Atlanta's 44-27 Week 17 loss to the Buccaneers, ended the 2020 season with 74 tackles, seven pass deflections, three forced fumbles and an interception.
ANALYSIS
Terrell started in all 14 of his game appearances after Atlanta selected him 16th overall in last April's draft. The Clemson standout surrendered six touchdowns and a passer rating of 109.6 over 106 coverage targets this season, but he provided value in other areas of his game. The rookie's three forced fumbles ranked second on the team behind only Foyesade Oluokun, while his seven pass breakups represented a high among Falcons defenders this season. As a whole, Atlanta's defense aims to improve upon a 32nd-place finish against the pass, with continued improvement from Terrell playing a key role in that vision.

The Bears struggled against Justin Jefferson the first time around, and they might have a rough go of it again potentially down two of their top three cornerbacks Sunday.

Beast or not, DeAndre Hopkins might have some trouble against James Bradberry, especially as defenses increasingly catch on to Arizona's static route combinations.

The Packers might not need him much to secure the victory, but if they look to Allen Lazard he will pose a big mismatch against Philadelphia's tiny corners.

After a two-week lull, Jamison Crowder might see his target volume spike upward against a Dolphins defense that's better outside than in the slot.
