Anderson played both wide receiver and running back during his time at UCF, but he mostly lined up in the backfield his final two seasons. He wasn't selected in the 2021 NFL Draft, but he ended up with a decent opportunity, joining a Rams team that later lost Cam Akers to a season-ending injury. Anderson signed a contract with the Rams on Wednesday, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports.
Anderson went undrafted out of UCF in the spring and will face long odds to make the Los Angeles roster to open the season. He rushed for 1,413 yards and nine touchdowns while catching 45 passes for 444 yards and three more scores in 22 games over his final two collegiate seasons.
