ANALYSIS
It looks like his hamstring issue turned out to be a bad one, after all. The Texans signed receiver London Crawford on Monday, presumably to replace Martinez.

Martinez never made it to the regular season in 2010, getting placed on IR in August with a bad hamstring. He's been around the club for a couple of seasons, getting a few chances as a kick returner, but that's it. There's a whole raft of wideouts looking for two, maybe three, available spots.
Martinez has been primarily a special teams player for the Texans, seeing time as a returner and on coverage teams. He's going to be buried on the wideout depth chart and will have to compete as a returner with Andre Davis and Trindon Holliday.
Martinez will get his reps in training camp, but is a long shot to make the active roster.
Martinez is currently eighth on the depth chart for wide receivers and is not expected to produce any significant fantasy stats.
Martinez will fight for a reserve receiver spot on the Broncos' roster in 2007.
