Kyle Williams

Having recovered from a torn ACL suffered late last season, Williams has a strong opportunity to make an impact as a receiver now that Michael Crabtree is lost for nearly the entire season. He's never had more than 20 receptions in a given year, but has also never landed a starting job. He may not sit too high up on the depth chart early on, but given the competition at the position, things could certainly turn upwards for him. He will also be counted on for kickoff and punt returns.

Williams will battle to make the team as a backup wide receiver.

Williams is likely to stick as a fourth or fifth receiver, and could win the job as the 49ers' punt returner. He has potential at wide receiver but it's going to take a year or two of seasoning.
