Locker's days in Tennessee appear numbered after the Titans declined to exercise the fifth-year option on his rookie contract, but in the meantime it seems as if the team lacks a player capable of truly pushing Locker for the starting role. He should have some QB2 utility so long as he's starting, as he's an above average runner and posted an 8-to-4 touchdown-to-interception ratio last year. Durability has been a major problem for Locker, however, as he's suited up for just 18 of Tennessee's last 32 games, and he seems likely to sit out a few games even if he avoids a performance-related benching. If Locker goes down at any point, sixth-round pick rookie Zach Mettenberger is the favorite to step in.
