2018 Fantasy Outlook
The Lions seemingly found a diamond in the rough in Zettel, who evolved from a 2016 sixth-rounder to a legitimate starting option that led the Detroit with 31 quarterback hurries in 2017. Unfortunately, Kerry Hyder is now healthy after missing last season with a ruptured Achilles, and the Lions look to have found another mid-round gem in 2018 fourth-rounder Da'Shawn Hand, who's spent a significant amount of time with the first-team defense this preseason. Given the available options the team now has at its disposal, it's looking increasingly likely that Zettel will experience a downtick from the 753 defensive snaps he saw last season, which would make it difficult for the defensive end to build upon his modest 43 tackles and 6.5 sacks from his breakout year.
