Billy Bowman

Billy Bowman was one of the most dynamic playmakers in his college years at Oklahoma, logging 177 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 12 passes defended, and 11 interceptions, plus three touchdowns over his final three seasons. A lack of size and top-end speed dropped Bowman to the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, where he landed with the Falcons. Bowman earned a starting job in training camp as the team’s slot corner, but a hamstring injury and torn Achilles limited him to just six games played. In those six games, Bowman showed that his instincts would translate to the NFL with 26 tackles, 1.5 sacks and an interception in 300 snaps. The second-year cornerback avoided the PUP entering the 2026 season, but Atlanta has been coy about his early-season role and expectations. Bowman has the kind of instincts and fearlessness that make for an impactful slot cornerback in IDP formats, but his inability to stay healthy as a rookie is a red flag. He’s a player who is worth monitoring on the waiver wire until we see what his role looks like and if he can hold up in the NFL. Read Past Outlooks
