The Bengals seldom trade up during the draft. In fact, they've only done it four times in franchise history. One of those times came this past April, when they decided to trade their sixth and seventh round pick for the Texans' sixth round, 207th overall pick, with which they drafted cornerback Brandon Wilson. A former running back, Wilson's quick speed (4.36 40-yard dash) and versatility could make him an instant contributor on defense. The 22-year-old seems like an ideal candidate to take over responsibilities in slot coverage and could also play a major role on special teams.
