Tyms (undisclosed) reached an injury settlement with the Colts on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

ANALYSIS
Tyms was on the Colts injured reserve list prior to reaching this settlement. The 27-year-old wide out caught five passes on the Patriots last season.

The former Patriot signed with the Colts in the offseason as Indianapolis attempted to bolster a wide receiving corp that was ravaged by injuries last season. Tyms was on IR the entirety of the 2015 season and alas was placed on the list again in late July.

Tyms played in 11 games for the Patriots in 2014, hauling in five catches for 94 yards and a touchdown. While the 6-3, 204-pounder brings good size and some potential as a deep threat to the table, he suffered a problematic foot injury in August that led to him being waived/injured.

Trying to stick with the Patriots as a depth wideout, but either way is in line to serve a four-game suspension to start the season.

Signed with Miami's practice squad in September of 2013.
