Dan Orlovsky

The 32-year-old was re-signed in March to continue as the primary veteran backup behind starter Matthew Stafford. Last season, Orlovsky was only used in two games, with both instances being low-leverage situations. Apart from a solid rapport with Stafford, he also has 12 career starts on his resume, including seven in his first tour of duty with the Lions.

Orlovsky will likely be Matthew Stafford's backup this season, only seeing time if injury befalls Stafford. If Orlovsky should move into the role, he'll be at the helm of a powerful offense.

Orlovsky will be the backup QB for the Bucs in 2012 and should provide solid veteran leadership and mentoring for young starter Josh Freeman, as well as a steady-if-not-spectacular backup option in case of injury.
