ANALYSIS
Fletcher was with the Patriots from 2010 to 2013, making six starts and recording 51 tackles. He then spent last season in Tampa Bay, where he started four games and made 39 tackles. Fletcher may need to compete for a roster spot despite his extensive experience with the Patriots.

Fletcher, who notched 39 tackles with the Bucs last season, return the Patriots for a second stint hoping to secure a depth linebacker slot with the team.

Free agent signee projects to be depth linebacker in 2014 for the Bucs.

Back from the torn ACL that kept him on the sidelined for the entire 2012 season, Fletcher will provide the Patriots with special teams help as well as depth at linebacker, where he figures to back up Brandon Spikes at middle linebacker.
