Signed this year as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall, Johnson is a big, bruising running back whose style could make him a good fit with the Panthers. Although he began his college career as a tight end, Johnson finished with nearly 1,800 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior. That being said, a back injury limited him to merely five games as a senior, so Johnson will need to overcome both injury and athleticism concerns to make the Panthers’ regular season roster.
