Moala was a late addition to Houston's training camp, added to give them bodies on the defensive line during preseason games. He was eventually released in the final cuts.
Is expected to be ready for the start of the season and will work in the defensive end rotation in the Colts' 3-4 defense.
Moala is a run-stuffing specialist for Indianapolis who gets low tackle totals.
Made only one start last year, but has upside as a backup defensive tackle.
Moala is likely to make the team in 2009, since the Colts organization places a lot of value on their draft picks. Moala has the speed and athleticism to play either tackle position in the Colts defense.
