ANALYSIS
Cropper has been on the Cowboys' practice squad for most of the season. He was signed to the active roster ahead of this past Sunday's loss to Carolina but was subsequently waived Tuesday after logging one snap on offense and eight on special teams. Now that Cropper is back on Dallas' practice squad, he'll again look to be elevated for game days, though that's less likely to happen with fellow wideouts CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and KaVontae Turpin (foot) seemingly close to returning to action.

Despite a very productive college career at Fresno State and a 4.40 40 time at his Pro Day, Moreno-Cropper's small stature caused him to go undrafted in 2023. His route running and yards-after-catch ability could make him a slot option in the NFL, and he can also contribute as a return man, but the Cowboys already have a more experienced player with similar skills in KaVontae Turpin, giving Moreno-Cropper a tough path to a roster spot in Dallas.
