Palmer is a Bachelor once more after the 49ers waived him on Tuesday, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
ANALYSIS
Palmer was waived by San Francisco to make room on their summer roster for Gibran Hamdan, the NFL Europe MVP this past spring. Palmer had fallen behind Shaun Hill for the team's No. 3 quarterback role behind starter Alex Smith and backup Trent Dilfer.

After being a late-cut by the Giants, was unsigned until joining the 49ers in November 2005. Will battle Shaun Hill to be San Francisco's third QB.
Will battle with Tim Hasselbeck and Jared Lorenzen for a backup quarterback job - most likely third string.
After starring on "The Bachelor", Palmer will go back to being a scrub at his real job, competing for the third-string QB job against Ryan Van Dyke and Jared Lorenzen.
Palmer will back up Kerry Collins again in 2003, and unless Collins gets hurt don't expect the strong-armed but inexperienced Palmer to see the field much.
