John Timu

Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2015, TImu played as a reserve in Weeks 1-4 and then didn’t see the field until re-emerging as a starting inside linebacker for the last three games of the season. During his seven appearances, he recovered a pair of fumbles and recorded 25 tackles, and in his first career start against the Vikings, he led the Bears with nine tackles. However, after the offseason addition of Danny Trevathan and Jerrell Freeman, the linebacker depth chart will be quite full, and Timu will likely spend much of his time as a reserve player.
