Burton will work out for the Bears on Tuesday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

ANALYSIS
The Bears are already deep at wide receiver, so barring a injury, it seems like an unlikely fit. The Giants have also reportedly showed interest in the former Ram, but both teams are more than likely only doing their homework on insurance policies.

Burton had a promising 2009 season cut short by injury yet again but he is healthy and will most definitely be in the mix for one of the club's top four receiving spots. However, with a new quarterback in the fold and fierce competition at WR we wouldn't invest too highly in him unless you see him separate himself from the pack in camp and claim the No. 1 or No. 2 spot outright.

Donnie Avery is solidified as the Rams' top wideout now that Torry Holt is gone, but Burton and Laurent Robinson figure to battle over the second spot. It appears that the second-year pro Burton has the leg up heading into the summer, but these are not your "greatest show on turf" Rams anymore. Still a starting gig at wideout in the league can give any receiver a chance to achieve fantasy relevance. Of course any improvement in teh team's passing game hinges on doing a (much) better job of protecting QB Marc Bulger..

Will push Dante Hall as both a returner and as the No. 4 receiver. Burton is a true fantasy sleeper candidate especially if he takes over return duties.
