Gordon totaled a career-high 75 tackles in 15 games last season, but he failed to intercept a pass for the first time in his career. Still, his physical play and ability to cover the slot earned him a three-year extension in April. Entering his fourth campaign, Gordon is locked into a starting role and could improve his impact plays with more experience. If his ball production increases, he may climb into the low-end IDP starter tier by midseason.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Future in Chicago uncertain
Bears general manager Ryan Poles expressed uncertainty Tuesday over whether Gordon would ever play for the team again, Courtney Cronin of ESPN reports. "I don't know," Poles said. "I hope so. I still have hope there. He's going to have to continue to work hard and get back to playing football again."
ANALYSIS
Gordon signed a three-year, $40 million extension with Chicago prior to last season, but a calf issue limited him to just five games, three in the regular season and two in the playoffs. The slot cornerback has yet to get fully healthy, and he'll begin the 2026 campaign on the PUP list, which requires a minimum four-game absence. Poles' comments suggest Gordon isn't that close to getting back on the field, however. If he misses most of another season, the Bears may elect to part ways with Gordon next spring.
